Kickstart - Virtual

  • The same structured approach as Kickstart In-Home — without geographic limits. Video-based coaching built around your dog's real environment, delivered remotely. Available in 5-week and 10-week formats.

  • Distance shouldn't be the reason training doesn't happen. Virtual delivers the same framework, the same accountability, and the same owner-led model — you just film it, submit it, and get coached on what you're seeing in real time. For owners who put in the work, results follow.

  • Owners outside our service area who want structured, professional guidance. Owners with scheduling constraints that make in-person sessions difficult. Anyone who learns well through direct feedback on their own footage.

  • Owners who need hands-on correction from the trainer. Virtual coaching requires a higher degree of owner initiative — you are the hands on the dog. If the dog's issues require direct trainer intervention, an in-person program is the right call.

  • An owner equipped to lead and a dog that responds — built through remote coaching sessions, submitted footage review, weekly homework, session notes, a maintenance plan, and three months of post-program support.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • In addition to live weekly virtual sessions, you submit video footage of your training sessions and assigned homework. The trainer reviews the footage, identifies what's working and what needs correction, and coaches you directly on what to adjust. It's a high-feedback model — not a watch-a-tutorial-and-figure-it-out model.

  • A smartphone that records video is the baseline. Specific training equipment is discussed during intake depending on the dog and the program goals. You don't need a professional setup — you need clear footage, an internet connection, and a consistent filming angle.

  • For the right owner, yes. Virtual requires more self-direction and initiative on your part since the trainer isn't physically present to make corrections in real time. Owners who are coachable, consistent, and detail-oriented get strong results. Owners who need hands-on guidance should consider an in-person program with us or another qualified nearby trainer.

  • Sessions are conducted via video call (Google Meet). You'll have scheduled check-ins with the trainer, submit homework footage between sessions for review, and receive written feedback and notes after each session. The structure mirrors in-person — the delivery is remote.

  • Mild to moderate reactivity can be addressed effectively through virtual coaching, particularly when the owner is committed and the environment can be managed enough for filming. Severe cases — where the dog's behavior poses a safety concern or requires direct trainer intervention — are better suited for an in-person program.

  • Submit footage and flag it before the next check-in. The feedback loop is designed to catch breakdowns early. If something in your execution, timing, or environment is working against the training, the sooner it's identified on film, the sooner it gets corrected.
