Hi, I’m Travis
My background was built in environments where precision wasn't optional.
As a Marine Corps veteran, former police SWAT K9 handler, and member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, I've worked alongside dogs where clarity and reliability weren't training goals—they were operational requirements. That experience shaped everything about how I approach this work. I've seen what a dog and handler look like in perfect sync. I've seen what happens when they aren't.
I founded Kovenant K9 to bring that same standard into everyday life. Not watered-down obedience for the living room. Real structure, built for the real world.
The Standard
Reliability Isn’t A Luxury. It’s A Requirement
Commitment
Consistency beats intensity. We don't look for overnight results—we build daily progress that compounds into something lasting. Small, disciplined wins, repeated over time, produce the kind of reliability that holds up when it matters.
Composure
A Kovenant dog is a neutral dog. Squirrels, crowds, other dogs, chaos—none of it breaks the connection. We train your dog to stay focused on you regardless of the environment. You become the anchor.
Command
You lead with clarity. No mixed signals, no confusion. We teach you to communicate with consistent authority so your dog always knows what's expected—not because you're demanding it, but because you've earned it.
Our Commitment To You
We don't chase trends, pad sessions, or sell outcomes we can't deliver. Every program is built on honest structure, real-world application, and follow-through that extends beyond the last session.
If you're ready to stop managing and start leading—you're in the right place.
Why “Kovenant”?
A covenant is more than a contract. It's a promise—binding, faithful, and not contingent on convenience.
Kovenant K9 was founded on our faith in Jesus Christ and a genuine desire to help dog owners build peaceful, structured relationships with their dogs. We believe in faithful stewardship—of the animals entrusted to our care, of the trust owners place in us, and of the work itself.
"The righteous care for the needs of their animals…" — Proverbs 12:10
Your dog is a life entrusted to your care. Our commitment is to treat that seriously—with the same structure, respect, and consistency we bring to everything else.
"For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken…" — Isaiah 54:10
That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Training built on a foundation that doesn't shift when life gets hard. Structure that holds because it was built to.
